SUMMARY:ELRIG’s French Forum:
\nSingle cell and spatial biology
DESCRIPTION:Single-cell technologies integrated with spatial biology are transforming drug discovery and our understanding of human biology by revealing how cellular diversity\, state\, and microenvironment drive health and disease. Together\, these approaches enable precise target identification and validation by linking molecular mechanisms to specific cell contexts. They expose the cellular ecosystems underlying complex diseases\, uncover drivers of resistance and adverse events\, and guide design of modality-appropriate interventions that act on the right cells in the right locations. Integration of single-cell and spatial readouts will yield actionable\, mechanistic maps of human tissues\, accelerating translation from target discovery to clinical impact. This forum will explore the recent advances that are driving this explosion in understanding whilst showcasing the impact it is having.
